My advice to you when completing your application is:
1. Look at the application as soon as possible to allow the questions time to sink in.
2. Don’t wait until three days before the due date to begin writing the application. A well-crafted essay takes time and at least one major revision.
3. Don’t tell us what you think we want to hear. Fight all urges to do so. Be genuine, confident, and challenge your readers to consider the essay prompts in a new way.

| Eligibility: |
Any transfer student who has attended a college or university other than Miami University and is planning to complete or has completed the Miami University Application for Transfer Admission, is eligible to apply. There is no minimum grade point average or credit hour limitation. We encourage you to reflect on your personal goals and academic record and decide for yourself whether Honors would be an appropriate fit for you.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. In most cases students should expect to receive their Honors admission decision within one week of receiving their admission decision from Miami University. Transfer applications are accepted up to 12 months prior to the date of attending classes.
Applications for transfer admission may be accepted after the stated deadline on a space-available basis. However, priority for Honors admission is given to students who apply
by the application deadline.
