The most surprising thing to me upon arriving at college was the true freedom that we now had. Whether we were ready for it or not, it was there, and it was new to everyone so no one had an edge. We were all equally naive to this freedom and it was just surprising to witness everyone's different reactions to it and the results that followed. It was also a test to my own priorities and values to reflect and look back on how my own lifestyle changed from having to answer to parents to answering to no one. It all was just unexpected, even though i probably should have expected it, but overall, it has been rewarding thus far to gain this kind of character building experience. Extra-curriculars: My interest and passion is Christ. I enjoy playing ultimate frisbee, taking walks, running, reading, watching movies, and following politics. <<BACK TO HONORS STUDENTS

My Advice for a High School Senior: "I would tell him/her to focus on their interests and to not follow what their friends tell them to do, but to follow their own goals. I would also tell them to stay the course they have set for themselves academically and not to slack off in their final year, but to finish strong.”
