Top 3 reasons I chose Honors at Miami...
1. It's a good challenge. This program allows you to get the most out of your college experience because there are many outside opportunities and activities, but also a large focus on the importance of education.
2. Benefits! Honors and Scholars classes sometimes get opportunities, such as tickets to shows, good seating at shows, and priority in choosing classes, that may not be offered in another program.
3. Reputation. Miami already has an excellent academic reputation, but being in the Honors and Scholars programs provide the extra challenge needed to be successful after graduation.
Extra-curriculars:
I am active in athletic activites, including intramurals. I love to read, write, and listen to good music. I also love to take pictures of my friends and family. I am involved in community service, and enjoy activities that allow me the opportunity to be a leader.

My Advice for a High School Senior:
"In preparing for college, I would take as many AP and dual-credit classes as I could in order to receive Miami credit. I found this to be helpful. I would also recommend trying to find something you are truly passionate about. This makes it easier to become involved in college, and usually makes for a good conversation starter.” |
