What surprised me most about college life...
I was most surprised by the lack of free time that I actually had. Beginning the first week of school, my classes kept me really busy and I did not have a lot of extra time to waste doing nothing. This took me by surprise because I had assumed that taking only 2 to 3 hours of classes a day would leave my schedule wide open but this has definitly not been the case.

Extra-curriculars:

I am still in the process of acclimatin myself to college life so there has not been a lot of time to get involved in extracurriculars. Right now I am focusing on my schoolwork, meeting new people, and going to the rec when I can fit it in.

My Advice for a High School Senior:

"I would advise high school seniors to go on many college visits in order to make the best college decision possible and to consider each college with an open mind and without pre-conceived notions. Allow your own impression to dictate your decision. Most importantly, do not procrasinate on your college applications because writing a good essay(s) requires time and revisions that cannot be perfected in the middle of the night.”
