My most significant learning experience is that we're all capable of a lot more than we realize. I have always had high expectations for myself, but when I got to college I realized how much more I was able to achieve because of the opportunities Miami had available. At first, it's a little intimidating because you are given a syllabus for the entire semester and wonder how you're ever going to have time to do the work for classes, let alone for everything else you are interested in doing. With just a little time spent planning, you realize that you have time to do the work for classes, time for extracurricular activities, and time to spend relaxing with your friends! You learn to fit in everything and have fun at the same time! Take advantage of the many opportunities presented to you here because you will get so much out of them!
