Top 3 reasons I chose Honors
at Miami ...
A student should
choose to get into the Honors and Scholars program for the people,
the classes, and the dorms. In the short time I have been at Miami,
I have bonded with so many people and we have all become really
close. I just attended my first Honors class, Honors Zoology 161,
yesterday and it was great to be in a classroom with a smaller amount
of people and to have a teacher who was eager to get to know everyone.
Last, but certainly not least, it has been a treat to get a break
from the heat in our air-conditioned dorm. My room is great and
the staff have been so helpful in getting my roommate and I situated
and feeling at home. All in all, I am so happy that I decided to
pursue the Honors Program and I would advise everyone to do so.
Extra-curriculars:
The
spring of my senior year, I was on the rowing team and I would like
to get involved with crew here at Miami. I am a huge sports fan,
I love hockey and football. I just applied at Goggin so hopefully
I will get to be involved there as well. I am completely open to
all of the experiences Miami has to offer!
My Picture (Right):
Well I
am the only girl in this picture. I went to the Honda Civic Tour
in Columbus this past summer and got to meet Panic at the Disco,
one of my favorite bands. My brother is to my left and my friend
Randall is to the left of him. I am standing next to the lead singer,
and future husband, Brendon Urie. It was amazing!

My Advice for a High School Senior:
"I would tell seniors that the most important thing about choosing a college is how it makes you feel. Miami has such a welcoming atmosphere and is full of chances for me to get involved. I was sold. If a school offers you the opportunity to grow as a student and as an individual then it is the one for you
