What surprised me most about college life...
Above anything else, I was surprised at the vast amount of people that you end up meeting. These are people that come from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures, but there always seems to be something in common that can build a friendship. It is wonderful to be able to walk uptown or around campus and see so many familiar faces.
Extra-curriculars:
Golf, lifting/staying in shape, hanging out with friends, sports, college football, video games, etc.

My Advice for a High School Senior:
"I would encourage them to meet as many new people as possible once he or she moves into the dorm. Also, don't be overwhelmed by the idea of living on your own and having so much responsibility added at one time. There will be people that you meet and you will build a support group that is willing to help you out in any way.”
