Eligibility
|
There are no minimum criteria to apply. Any student planning to complete or who has completed the Miami University Application is eligible to apply. We encourage you to reflect on your personal goals and academic record and decide for yourself whether Honors would be an appropriate fit for you.

| Selection Criteria |
Admission into the Honors Program is both competitive and comprehensive. While students who are accepted typically have outstanding academic records, their applications are reviewed for many factors. All applications to the Honors Program are carefully reviewed for multiple academic and contextual variables, including the following (listed in alphabetical order):

International Students |
| International students applying to Miami University can also apply to the University Honors Program. The application deadlines and process are the same as for domestic students. International students are encouraged, but are not required, to take the SAT or ACT in order to be considered for admission to the Honors Program. However, they must demonstrate language proficiency, which is determined by their TOEFL or IELTS scores. |
