Identifying Your Personal Strengths for Success
In this one-hour workshop, Dr. Carolyn Haynes, director of the University Honors & Scholars Program will guide participants through a structured set of questions that are designed to help you identify your core strengths and your goals and dreams for the future.  Students will be given a reflective exercise to conduct on their own to further their learning and inquiry.

Understanding Life in the Workforce, in Professional School or in Graduate School
This one-hour workshop will feature a panel of experts on graduate school, professional school and the business world who will offer you an inside view on what it is like to take each of these paths and respond to your questions.

Selecting an Appropriate Graduate or Professional School
This one-hour workshop will focus on strategies for determining the best post-baccalaureate program for you. Participants will be offered guidelines for narrowing down the list of potential programs and tips for a successful process.

Starting Your Search and Creating an Effective Resume
Mr. Kyle Garner, Associate Director of Market Knowledge from the Procter & Gamble Company, will offer a one-hour workshop on effective ways to begin your job search process and to create a resume that brings out the best in you.

Creating Your Statement of Purpose for Graduate or Professional School
Most applications for graduate, medical or law school and for many jobs ask you to create a personal statement that reflects your academic and personal interests and journey as well as describes your suitability for the program or job you are seeking. These statements are important ways for you to convey your unique abilities. In this one-hour workshop, Dr. Haynes will offer you guidelines for creating an effective statement.

Communicating for Leadership & Influence
Kyle Garner and Claire Gomersall, two executives from the Procter & Gamble Company, have developed this one-hour workshop for leaders across the country. They will focus on strategies for communicating your ideas to reach your own goals and influence others.

Preparing for the GRE, LSAT and MCAT
Although the GRE, LSAT and MCAT are all different examinations, many of the strategies for preparation for them are similar. In this one-hour workshop, participants will brainstorm and discuss guidelines and tips for doing your best on these exams.
